as the opening presentation at Khilafah Conference Britain 2007
entitled "Khilafah: The need and the method", organised by Hizb ut
Tahrir Britain as part of a global campaign by Hizb ut-Tahrir
internationally to raise awareness about the vitality of the Khilafah.
It
presents the need for Khilafah on the basis of the oppression and
hardship which has been experienced by the Muslim world under the
auspices of despotic regimes over the last century.
