ادْعُ إِلِى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ Invite to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair admonition; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious [TMQ 16:125]   Ignorance and lies about Islam are widespread today. Anti-Islamic propaganda is used by politicians and policy makers in the west to implement their military and political policies in the west and across the world. Dawah to non-Muslims is an obligation from Allah in its own right, like other obligations. But it is arguably more neglected than most personal duties performed by Muslims in the west. Many Muslims now live in lands where the majority of people know nothing about the message of Islam. Increasing numbers crave an alternative to the secular way of life, dominated by Capitalism, money and material wealth, with increasing social problems, and a spiritual vacuum. In such an environment, we pray that Muslims will make a greater effort to invite people to the beuatiful beliefs, messages and way of life that is Islam. Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain has launched a website, and a series of leaflets that seeks to both explain Islam to the uninformed and stimulate thinking about the reality of life in the modern secular world. We pray that these resources will be of benefit & we encourage that they be copied and circulated widely. Electronic copies can also be downloaded from the website, which we hope to keep updated. We welcome feedback, and would remind Muslims and ourselves that invitation with wisdom, fair admonition, and the best styles of debate are more than mere clever arguments.
