debate_east_london[1].JPGSecular values with its basis of divorcing any reference to religion has yet to be challenged effectively, as until now both the political left and right have not engaged in any debate about the suitability of secular liberal values.

Most western leaders believe that secular values are the nirvana of modern life; Tony Blair even claimed that these values were universal. However just as the Islamic way of life has received criticism from those promoting and adhering to secular principles, it is now time to bring both opposing world views on to the table for discussion.

Is Islam an alternative or is secular liberalism the only hope for humanity?
