I don't think the conference has failed. Not because of the 90000+ attending the conference. But because of the conference and khilafah are being debated by many Indonesian and international mass media. If my Indonesian language serves me right, I understood that one youth leader from a university/college who is not a member of Hizbut Tahrir is promising to unite all the youth associations in his area to work with Hizbut Tahrir for this call for khilafah. And by the way, someone who is appointed by Allah is called a Rasul/Nabi/Prophet. Someone elected by Islamically-motivated mullahs and the ummah to rule by the laws of Islam is called a Khalifah. Therefore, every single muslim, men or women/ old or young should work for it. We should forget our differences in this ground. The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown says that British people need to be unified to defeat terrorism.
