Cut all diplomatic relations with the Indian government immediately
Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bangladesh organized a demonstration today after Asr prayers in front of the national mosque protesting against the murder of two Bangladesh Rifles soldiers (BDR) and two Bangladeshi civilians by the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF). Deputy Spokesman of the party Kazi Murshedul Hoque and senior members Mowlana Mamunur Rashid, Ahmed Jamal Iqbal and Mamunur Rashid Ansari delivered speeches at the demonstration.
The speakers said that the Indian BSF men killed the two BDR members yesterday (18 July 2008) without rovocation. They came 1.5 kilometres inside Bangladesh in the area of Chapai Nababganj district and killed the two soldiers. Today two farmers were shot and murdered in Jessore district. By these actions on two consecutive days the Indian government has almost declared war with Bangladesh. Rather than seek an apology, the Indian government is trying to justify its viciousness. Muslims have become accustomed to the nature of the Zionists in Israel who put the blame on innocent people after committing their crimes. Similarly, the Indian government is wickedly claiming that those who were killed were illegal cross border cattle traders. The Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pinak Ranjan dared to go a step further by lying that BSF did not kill any Bangladeshis in the border area at all!
The Indian forces intentionally undertook these heinous killings even while India-Bangladesh foreign secretary-level bilateral talks were being held in New Delhi. At the official meetings, and with the help of these acts, the Indian government tried to create pressure on Bangladesh to give road transit to India. The current Bangladesh regime once again failed miserably to tackle the whole situation. In order to retain its power, this weak government has followed a policy of appeasing India from the day of coming to power. Consequently, after the BDR killings, the Government of Bangladesh requested the Indian Government to maintain calm and observe restrain. On the other hand, the Indian government responded in the language of weapons - they killed two innocent farmers.
In the last 37 years, Indian regimes have put the Muslims of Bangladesh under immense pressure by creating problems one after another. No Bangladeshi government could organize the people against the Indian belligerence. They continuously failed to give proper leadership and direction. The speakers urged the people of the country to work towards establishing the Khilafah government in order to be able to give a proper response to Indian aggression. Only the Imam of the Believers can act as the shield behind whom the believers will fight and protect themselves against Allah’s and their enemies. The speakers also demanded that the government immediately cut all diplomatic relations with India.
