The US Ambassador James Moriarty must be declared persona non-grata immediately
Chief Coordinator and Spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bangladesh, Mohiuddin Ahmed in a
press release issued today protested against interference by the US Ambassador James F
Moriarty in Bangladesh’s political affairs. Demanding immediate expulsion of Moriarty,
Mohiuddin Ahmed said that disregarding all diplomatic norms, the US Ambassador held a
series of meetings with the agent politicians in two consecutive days. His predecessor
Butenis held similar meetings prior the 1/11. It is clear to everyone that these meetings are
part of the US plan to consolidate their control over the politics of the country. These
meetings also expose the nature of our agent politicians who are forever ready to serve US
interest. Instead of taking a strong stance against the US-India-EU designs regarding the
country, these politicians are acting as their puppets. In these meetings the politicians make
complaints and take requests to their masters and offer themselves to act as servants of the
imperialists. Mohiuddin Ahmed urged the people of Bangladesh to reject these agent
politicians together with declaring Moriarty persona non-grata. He urged the nation to
establish the Khilafah state, which will strongly deal with all imperialist conspiracies. Only the
Khilafah state can stop the disbelieving imperialists powers from interfering in the country’s
internal affairs with its strong foreign policy.
