The BBC Slander of Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain is just the latest of many attacks Muslims will face in this Propaganda campaign
On Tuesday 14th November 2006 the BBC carried malicious, unfounded and
far-fetched allegations of criminality against the Islamic political
organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain. They sensationalised the story
with shadowy reconstructions and sinister background music. They proved
their insincerity by not checking the truth of the allegations
beforehand. If they had bothered they would have found many of the
specific allegations immediately proved false. The response to this
programme from Muslims, and indeed many non-Muslims, was a total
rejection of these allegations.

Over the last few weeks we have seen one Labour minister after another getting on the bandwagon to attack the Muslim community. The recent comments by Jack Straw on the issue of wearing the niqab sparked off another wave of derogatory remarks about the Muslim community both by government ministers and the tabloid media. In addition, over the last week we have seen many of our sisters being abused for wearing the hijab and niqab, a sister being suspended from her job and an attack upon an innocent Imam. Speaking in Blackburn, Straw said "The article sparked quite a bigger debate than I anticipated which left me surprised. But it sparked off concern about parallel communities. We have to face up to the difficult challenge of achieving a greater understanding of different cultures." The reality is that Jack Straw's comments far from achieving "greater understanding between communities" have done nothing other than breed hatred and xenophobia within Britain towards Muslims and Islam.

Home Secretary John Reid’s comments calling upon Muslim parents to spy on their children in the name of combating terrorism is yet another initiative that will do nothing more than cause anger and outrage within the Muslim community and heighten fear about terrorism within the wider society.

Blair's antti-terror laws will criminalise Muslims for speaking out against occupation of Iraq and Palestine
Following the July 7th bombings in London, the Blair government seems to have been doing everything in its power to collectively punish the entire Muslim community in Britain. Provocative speeches by the Prime Minister and the Home Secretary Charles Clarke against Islam, Shariah and the Caliphate, stop and search and shoot to kill policies by the police, threats to close down mosques, deportations and detention orders together with the constant media propaganda against Islam has left no doubt in the Muslim community that this war on terror is nothing other than a war on Islam and Muslims.

The following is a letter and photos of a delegation to the French President regarding the proposal to ban the hijab in the country.
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ
An Open letter from Hizb ut-Tahrir to President Chirac, President of the Republic of France
Monsieur le President,
We were hesitant to write this letter and there were two reasons for this hesitance:
Firstly; we do not represent a State. We are a political party whose
ideology is Islam working for the resumption of the Islamic way of life
by establishing the Islamic State, the Rightly guided Khilafah State in
the Muslim lands. Since we do not represent a State we felt that you
might find it inappropriate that a party writes to you rather than a
state writing to a major power such as France.
