This visit was full of sugar-coated statements, trying to prove that he is not at war with either Islam or Muslims
Obama concluded his tour of Turkey yesterday, Tuesday 7th April, 2009. This visit was full of sugar-coated statements, trying to prove that he is not at war with either Islam or Muslims and that Turkey is important for America and the world, as a bridge between the Islamic World and the West. He also stressed that America’s relations with Muslims is not merely confined to fighting terrorism but includes many other issues as well. Obama also said that he will work towards a dialogue etc. He spoke along these lines in his address to the Turkish parliament, as well as during his various meetings and conferences, whilst in Turkey.

The people of the country are angry and saddened by the horrific events of 25-26th February at the BDR headquarters especially the pre-planned and barbaric killings of more than a hundred military officers. Brutally murdering unarmed military officers and their families is an unforgivable crime. Mutilating dead bodies of officers; torturing and killing their wives and children including pregnant women; rape and burning dead bodies – all these inhumane acts were carried out by gang of Indian agents.

Draft plans by the British government were leaked to the Guardian newspaper and BBC Panorama this week, which expose that the British government is once again playing politics with terrorism. The plans have nothing to do with preventing 'violent extremism' or promoting ‘community cohesion’ as they tell people. The leak provides yet more evidence that the government's projects and funding for mosques, community centres, youth groups and women's groups are aimed at changing the deen that the Muslims hold. These projects are about gathering intelligence (though the police deny this) and their grants are so our communities become addicted to government money, so they can then dictate to us what we can and cannot think, believe or say.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
On 21 January 2009, Pakistan's President, Asif Ali Zardari, began an attempt by his government to portray the inauguration of the new US President, Barak Hussain Obama, as a new hope for Pakistan. Zardari said, "Renewal by the US president of commitment to high ideals and values would raise hope for a better future for the peoples of the world." This statement was followed by days of media campaigning by the government, in an attempt to justify its allegiance to America. As usual the government was joined in its chorus by those politicians who claim to speak for Muslims and Islam, but speak without care for the consequences upon the Muslims and Islam. Indeed, the government's claim that a new US President justifies its alliance with America is as false as the government's previous claim that changing Pakistan's President justifies Pakistan's corrupt and failing system.
