afghan_child_injured.jpg In his famous Cairo speech, Barack Obama said he wanted “a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect.”

Yet, in recent days, news has emerged of new US massacres of civilians. On Tuesday, around 80 people were killed in the south Waziristan region of Pakistan, when a US drone struck mourners attending a funeral. A previous attack in May saw up to 140 civilians killed in Farah province, Afghanistan, in a US airstrike.

US interference in the Muslim world has created more chaos, havoc and terror than ever before. Since its invasion Afghanistan in 2001 and its drive to push the Pakistan army to attack its own citizens in NWFP, Swat and FATA, terror attacks in Pakistan have rocketed causing the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians.

Wherever the US goes, it spreads terror and chaos. An end to this will only occur when western military, economic and political influence is removed from the Muslim world and the Muslim world re-establishes its own independent political leadership, the Khilafah state where the leader looks after his citizens instead of colluding with governments that attack them.
