Hebron: Tens of thousands attend demonstration in Palestine

Hebron, Palestine August 2006: To mark the abolition of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the 28th Rajab, tens of thousands of members and supporters of Hizb ut-Tahrir Palestine marched in central Hebron. Calls for Muslims around the world to unite and take on the task of re-establish the caliphate was announced on the stage. The demonstration ended with a call for the people of influence in the Muslim world to rise up against the incompetent, corrupt and western inspired puppet rulers that plague the Muslim world.
