Pakistan Crisis: Hizb ut Tahrir Britain holds emergency meeting in London Print E-mail

In response to the deterioration of the political situation in Pakistan following the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, Hizb ut Tahrir Britain held an emergency meeting in East London this afternoon.

Presentations by HTB's political correspondent Sajjad Khan and National Executive Committee member Qasim Khwaja focused on the detailed situation that has led to Pakistan facing potential civil war and disintegration under Musharraf's rule. The presentations also discussed how Pakistan's future lay in the implementation of a sincere Islamic leadership through a new Khilafah, the details of which were unveiled in the speeches and the launch of a dossier.
