Hizb ut Tahrir Britain organises demonstration to Musharraf's London visit

Hizb ut Tahrir Britain announces a demonstration in opposition to Musharraf's visit to London on Saturday 26th January 2008 at the Pakistan High Commission in London.

While Pakistan descends into turmoil under Musharraf's dictatorial rule, Britain and Europe entertain the ruler who has silenced political opposition in his country through proscription and intimidation, has suspended the rule of law by the dismissal of the office of the Chief of Justice and whose government is shrouded in suspicion of a conspiratorial cover up of the assassination of the main opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.

While the leaders of Britain and Europe pontificate over the democratisation of Pakistan as a saviour for its beleagured people, the lives of ordinary Pakistanis becomes more unbearable with each passing day as the country slides towards anarchy and sectarian conflict.

The people of Pakistan do not need or want Musharraf's democracy, or Bush's democracy or Brown's democracy, as past democratic governments have brought nothing except corruption, poverty and humiliation. The people of Pakistan desire unity under Islam and the return of the Khilafah which will end western interference in Pakistan and restore justice, the rule of Allah's (swt) law and unity through Islamic brotherhood.

Hizb ut Tahrir Britain invites the Muslim community in Britain to attend this demonstration to condemn Musharraf's treachery and British and European hyprocrisy. Make your voices heard across the world as you call for the return of the Khilafah!

Don't be afraid.We have Allah to ask for help and yet our leaders seek support of the non-Muslims. We must believe that Only the reality of Islamic Khilafah will solve the problem.

I attended the demonstration and was very impressed with the organisation of the entire event. As to the ideas conveyed. I hope Preseident Musharaff heeds your warning. His treachery of his own people, rubbing his hands with the west especially his visit to London exposes his agent status. A true Dictatorship Democracy as both are identically trynnical regimes.
Your message is one of truth standing against not only the west but also the rulers in your lands.

I also attended your demonstration outside the Dorchester Hotel, event through the cold your people show bravery in thought and action.

from the day in inception muslims fought a war to establish a state based on islam but they were decieved by the great leader of shatan "jinnah". Now we have the same in Mushraff.
O Muslims, Do you hold Allah (swt) and his Messenger (saw) dear to you, and if you do rise up and account the ruler and work to establish the Islamic Khilfah state that will get rid of the current rulers and bring just to all citizens.

O muslims How you can sleep at nite when the responsibility of the work is on your head, we have not been promised Jannah where as those companions that were still work hard night and day, there are even comments in the serah that they use to dig their own graves to remind themselves of death and that the promise of jannah can still be take away.

O muslims come to your senses and fulfil your obligations.

We have tried and seen everything in Pakistan, corrupt politics, politicians and devastating consequences. So i have hope in Khilafat and if it was to fail it can surely do no more harm that has been done in the last 60 years.
