As part of the campaign to stop Musharraf destroying Pakistan and to offer an alternative of the Khilafah as a way forward, Hizb ut Tahrir Britain has held a series of conferences in the UK.
The message of Hizb ut Tahrir to the Muslims of Pakistan and across the world has never been more appropriate than now when the west can only offer the Muslims secular democratic political alternatives to the dictatorships which they have fostered in the Muslim world. However, the Muslims have witnessed that democracy has brought little improvement in their standard of living but has rather made their lands weak and corrupted. It has also undermined the Islamic values of the society with family life thrown into turmoil.
The Khilafah system offers the Muslims a real chance for progress by bringing unity where secular democracy has brought division, independence from the west as apposed to subjugation, the rule and justice from Allah (swt) as apposed to those of corrupt politicians and the just ditribution of resources as apposed to poverty.
