Few amendments in the judicial system do not beget Shariah – Khilafah is the only practical method to implement Islam
The Shariah can only be implemented by uprooting the current system and establishing Khilafah – not by compromises and pacts with the Kufr dispensation. It is not just the imposing of judicial system which would results in the implementation of Shariah as a whole, rather Islam provides economic, ruling and social systems along with educational and foreign policies whose comprehensive implementation under the Khilafah state produces peace and tranquility for the whole humanity. Who is the government trying to deceive by introducing cosmetic changes in the judicial system of Malakand Division and Kohistan District? The Shariah is a well-knitted, concordant and comprehensive system which can only be successfully implemented in one go – not in piecemeal. Islam has made it haram for the Muslims that they accept or implement the Shariah in parts. Allah (swt) said:
"Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment."[TMQ: Al-Baqara 02:85]
As for as the ceasefire is concerned, which was as a result of this agreement, we should not be over cheerful as previously the government has broken several such agreements under the diktats of America. Alternating between military operation and temporary peace is in fact the concerted military strategy of the government of Pakistan for fighting this American war, of which the current peace agreement is just an example. The continued presence of Pakistani troops in Swat is an evidence that the government still intends to keep the military operation open. Expecting sincerity from the secular agents of the colonialist powers operating out of Islamabad and Peshawar that they would help in the implementation of Islam is childish, naivety and amounts to being bitten from the same hole several times. Those distributing sweets on such "victories" need to remember government’s pacts with Naik Muhammad and Baitullah Mehsud as well as its support to the Taliban in Afghanistan in the nineties and subsequently its betrayal.
