Pakistan Crisis Emergency Seminar: Hizb ut Tahrir to launch ‘New Leadership New System’ Dossier
London, UK, December 28 2007 – Following the assassination of Benazir Bhutto, hundreds of people will attend Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain’s emergency crisis seminar titled ‘Pakistan in Crisis’ in the heart of London’s Pakistani Muslim community at the Asian Centre, Walthamstow on Sunday 30th December 2007.
Dr Imran Waheed, media representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, said, "This seminar will address the current crisis in Pakistan – worsened by the assassination of Benazir Bhutto; the influence of foreign powers in the worsening security situation; Pakistan’s involvement in America’s war on terror; the failure of the Musharraf regime to bring the most basic security to Pakistan."
"At the seminar, we will also be launching a dossier which illustrates the practical solutions from Islam to Pakistan’s very real problems of political corruption, poverty and deprivation, sectarianism and foreign interference in Pakistan. This is in contrast to other political leaders who only seem to vie with each other for power."
"Both dictatorship and the western promoted panacea of democracy have failed Pakistan. Only the Islamic Khilafah (caliphate) system can free Pakistan from subservience to colonial powers and provide the country with a new leadership, system and policies that will put the interests of the people first."
The emergency seminar will take place on Sunday 30th December 2007 at 5pm at the Asian Centre, 18a Orford Road, Walthamstow, London E17 9LN.
