Vladimir Putin has waded into the growing row surrounding US President Donald Trump and his links to Russia.

US media say Mr Trump passed on classified information to Russian officials last week, but Mr Putin says this is not the case.

He said he would release a record of the meeting to the US Congress if they requested it.

The news comes amid reports Mr Trump tried to influence an investigation into his team’s dealings with Russia.

US media have quoted a memo by former FBI director James Comey that reportedly says Mr Trump asked him to drop an inquiry into links between his ex-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and Moscow.

The fallout from both issues continues to consume Washington, with moves by Democrats to launch an independent commission starting to gather momentum.

This farce between two global powers indicates the state of world politics. Secret conversations, scandals and allegations of intervention in ‘democratic’ elections is a constant feature in media outlets. However the real issues are seldom discussed in the media.

Both these countries have been instrumental in causing destruction in Syria. They both have agendas in the Middle East at the expense of Muslims who are at the mercy of the US and Russia plotting over their land. However the press choose to focus on tape recordings and minutes are meetings, instead of the lives of men, women and children who are at the mercy of their bloodthirsty foreign policies.

Regardless of endless guessing of what was said between the US President and Russia- one thing is certain that they both support the tyrant President Bashar al Assad as an ally on their foreign policy.

A glance at photos published by Russian media of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s Oval Office meeting with Trump, showed two wolves very comfortable with each other. It was not a scene of discomfort, rather more of friends enjoying each other’s company. Partners and friends who plot and plan against the Muslim Ummah and who disregard the chaos which they have crafted in the Middle East.

Discussing phone taps and conversations is much more important than real lives that have been lost by the US and Russian foreign policy.

‘Fake News’ is the mantra of Trump, but the ‘Real News ‘ is neither discussed by western media outlets or indeed western governments.

As for Mr Trump, he told US Coast Guard Academy graduates in Connecticut: “No politician in history has been treated worse or more unfairly.”
