“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow, and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter by any alteration.” [Al-Ahzab: 23]
With sadness the members of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain announce the return of our brother Mustafa Ahmed to his Lord, offering condolences to his family and all who knew him.
Mustafa was committed to Islam from a young age and diligently carried the da’wah for the past 29 years. Even in his recent weeks of ill-health, he was still eager to gain news of the da’wah, and assist and advise as much as he could. He was warm and generous, opening his home to children in his community in Slough to make it a centre for teaching the Qur’an.
He also made his mark in more than one continent, travelling to Pakistan for the sake of the daw’ah to Islam. He spread the reviving call for Khilafah there in the streets with the masses, and in the homes of influentials, and is remembered fondly by the Shabab there for his brotherly advice and sincerity.
He was a faithful son to his parents, especially his mother whom he nursed until her demise.
May Allah ta’ala grant him His mercy, forgiveness and elevate his status in Paradise.
Ameen
