In Istanbul today, the 3rd of March, Hizb ut-Tahrir in Turkey held an International Khilafah symposium on the very same day the Khilafah (Caliphate) was destroyed 92 years ago in this same land.

Titled ‘What is Khilafah?’, the historic event was addressed by journalists, academics, scholars and members of Hizb ut-Tahrir from various parts of the Muslim world. Attendees came from various parts of Turkey and several Muslim countries.

Some of the international speakers who gave keynote speeches included Ismail Yusanto (Indonesia), Sheik Issam Amirah (Palestine) and Ismail Alwahwah (Australia) and ustadh Hanafi (Turkey).

We pray that Allah (swt) aids and accepts these efforts and blesses the Muslim ummah soon with the return of the Khilafah Rashida. For Him (swt) – that is indeed easy.

وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰ أَمْرِهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

“And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know” [TMQ Sura Yusuf 12:21]
