The secular government that believes in capitalism and works as the agent of the imperialists has completely failed to secure the rights and honour of women.
In a press release issued today the official spokeswoman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bangladesh Fahmida Farhana Khanam condemned and expressed deep concern regarding the recent incident of the rape of a minor girl of class ten and the selling of the video of that disgusting and immoral act by Ahsan Kabir alias ‘Tiger Mamun’ who is a leader and notorious cadre of Chatra League and loyal company of Awami league MP from Pirojpur. Awami league cadre Tiger Mamun raped the minor girl and sold the secretly filmed video as pornography in the market. Besides this, gang rape of another college girl was led by Tariqul Islam Sentu, president of Chatra League, Najirpur College from the same district. But the police and the authorities kept quiet about the matter for an unknown reason.
Fahmida Farhana Khanam said that the heinous and animalistic actions under the nose of the authorities and the police department when the prime minister, the foreign minister and the interior minister of this country are women, proves that the imperialist agents, believers in democratic values and the secular grand alliance government have completely failed to secure the honour of the women of this country. Moreover, the so called women’s right organizations have mysteriously kept silent about these incidents.
Today women have become cheap commodities for personal benefit. As a result, abundant display of naked and half naked bodies of women in large billboards, magazines and both the electronic and print media have become the means of booming businesses. To attain personal gain, women are being forcefully raped and those criminal activities are sold in the market as high priced pornography. It doesn’t matter how many laws are being legislated to secure the rights of women, the capitalist government will never secure the honour of women. Also, the borrowed solutions of "women empowerment, education and equal rights" by the so called women’s organization from the West will never secure the honour and rights of women of this country. The increasing rate of abuse of women in the West clearly proves their failure in this matter.
Fahmida Farhana Khanam said that in the history of mankind, the honour, respect and the rights of women at its utmost height were truly established only under the shade of the Khilafah state. History is witness that according to the saying of Rasulullah (saw) women could travel great distances wearing valuable ornaments and the security of their lives, wealth and honour were not breached even in the slightest manner. Fahmida Farhana Khanam urged all Muslims including women not to get bewitched by the cheap slogans of the West. She called upon them to reject the present capitalist system of life and join the front line for re-establishing Khilafah system which will guarantee women’s honour, right and security.
