Criticism of the Zionist Entity is not Anti-semitism

Secular Journalists Promote Islamophobia and Use Accusations of Anti-Semitism to Prevent Criticism of Western Colonialism and the Zionist Occupation

On the BBC Sunday Poltics television show, journalist Melanie Phillips aired her views that Islamophobia was just a smokescreen for Muslims to hide behind, to prevent legitimate criticism. Her opinion ignores the very real and regular hateful view of Muslims that she and her journalist colleagues promote every day. She says that anti-Semitism is based on an irrational hatred and is always wrong, but that the Muslim community deserve no such protection and should be open to regular criticism.

One would expect that all ideas and beliefs should be open to discussion and debate, however in this liberal secular society, with regard to Islam and Muslims, the debate is always one-sided – lest the truth of it be allowed to shine over the rotten and fallacious secular ideology.

When journalists like this – who are fearful of real debate – call any criticism of the Zionist occupation of Palestine anti-semitic, they are simply using it as a smokescreen to prevent criticism of the West’s secular beliefs, values and oppressive policies overseas.

It is of no surprise that Muslims are the chief opponents to the Zionist occupation, as it is the Muslims in Palestine who had the land stolen from them, and it is Islam that has the just and true solution to the Palestinian occupation. It is the Muslims that have inherited the responsibility to a just and secure way of life, which the Western colonialists fear will bring an end to their hegemony.

When Muslims criticise Zionist occupation, it is due to its illegitimacy from the Islamic ideology, and not due to it being illegitimate from the secular Western ideological standard. However, we also point out the contradictions of the West with regards to Palestine, as it exposes the fallacy of the Western standard itself, which even its adherents cannot make work for all people all the time.

When Western politicians and their media supporters like Melanie Phillips make what they term “legitimate criticisms of the Muslim community”, it is part of a continuous and concerted effort to undermine the Islamic way of life, without actually discussing the Islamic thoughts. It is a failing attempt to divert people from considering Islam positively, due to the negativity that they have created regarding anything to do with Islam and Muslims. It is the reason why any negative story involving Muslims always mentions the fact that there are Muslims involved – to insinuate that their Islamic beliefs were responsible, in part, for the negativity. All the while we see hundreds of negative stories every week which fail to mention the secular beliefs of the perpetrators, to cover up the fact that the secular liberal ideology is in fact responsible for the negative and criminal behaviour that we all have to endure everyday – Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

This hypocritical tactic championed by the likes of Melanie Phillips is not accidental, but deliberate, as they know they have no chance to debate their secular beliefs and values against the Islamic beliefs and values, so they abuse their power to cheat their readership instead.

Muslims in the UK need to expose this tactic to the wider society, and let them know that the establishment is doing everything it can to prevent debating a thought with a thought, so as to maintain their oppressive hegemony over the ordinary citizens of the country and the rest of the world.

We should not settle for accusations of Islamophobia, but instead work tirelessly to expose the failed ideology of capitalism and all of its ridiculous diversionary tactics to avoid its core secular beliefs and values being questioned.

Muslims need to expose the Zionist occupation as being unjust and oppressive, regardless of the lies of its supporters and sycophants.

Muslims need to call for the complete liberation of the land of Palestine and the removal of the Zionist entity, letting the whole world know of its crimes and its unsuitability to govern its own people, let alone those who it occupied.

Muslims need to call for the true Islamic state – the Khilafah on the way of Prophethood – which will return justice and peace to the Middle East, and demonstrate the superior Islamic belief and values to the world at large.

The world deserves better than the deceit and deception of the capitalists and their band of braying journalists. Humanity deserves a leadership which builds its way of life on thoughts that convince the mind, not upon compromises and lies to avoid scrutiny.
