Hizb ut-Tahrir held demonstrations in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. The demos were held to protest against Waziristan operation, arrival of US senator John Kerry and the arrests of more than 30 members and supporters of Hizb ut-Tahrir from Islamabad. The demonstrators were carrying banners and placards with slogans against American Raj and arrests of Hizb members. Addressing the protesters the speakers condemned the arrests and vowed to continue their non-violent political struggle. Furthermore they also condemned the ever increasing influence of America in our affairs as well as ruler’s unreserved help and support for the American Raj.
They said that the terrorists of Blackwater and Dyncorp are unrestrictedly patrolling the streets of Islamabad whilst sincere Muslims calling for Islam and Khilafah are being abducted from their houses. They said that the recent arrests show the nervousness and anxiety of the rulers whereas Hizb will continue to raise its voice against the conspiracy of forcing the Army to fight the innocent inhabitants of Waziristan.
The speakers also condemned the arrival of US Senator Kerry who is here to micro-manage the affairs of Pakistan. Hizb ut-Tahrir is a non-violent political party which has no connection with militancy but she is banned in almost all the Muslim countries under the strict instructions of the imperialists. The prime reason for this is that not only Hizb provides an alternative to the current capitalist system but she also has a workable programme in the form of Khilafah which can unify the Ummah under a single banner. The time has come that the people of power answer the call of Hizb ut-Tahrir and provide Nusrah to the Hizb for the reestablishment of the Khilafah. In it, is the success of this world and the Hereafter!
