Mass letter campaign starts today
London, UK, November 28 2008 – At mosques across the UK today, Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain will distribute tens of thousands of template letters for Muslims in Britain to send to Pakistan’s UK Ambassador registering their protest over his government’s facilitating of America’s ongoing attacks on Pakistan and calling for a new leadership that will defend Pakistan.
Today’s political action is part of Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain’s ongoing campaign to ‘Expose Americas Undeclared War on Pakistan’. Alhamdulillah, the campaign has gained broad positive support in the community and enables thousands to take action and voice their opposition.

The letter in Urdu and English states, "I wish to express my anger at the ongoing bombing of Pakistani territory. The government policies have helped the Americans to kill and displace hundreds of thousands from their homes. An attack on FATA, NWFP or elsewhere is an attack on all of us. The US is acting as an enemy by conducting open acts of war and aggression against the people and we recognise that the US has designs on Pakistan as it has done on Iraq and Afghanistan before. The government must not promote division and civil war by killing its own people to satisfy the Americans. This is wrong and weakens the country. The government has failed to take firm action, severing ties with the US and defending the borders, and must now step aside to allow a sincere leadership to be established to assume the role to defend Pakistan."
