London, UK, August 16 – Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain, the non-violent Islamic political party, will hold a press conference later today in the Bangla language for national Bangla newspapers and Bangla satellite television channels.
The press conference will outline the response of Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain to some of the recently proposed anti-terrorism measures. It will also provide an open forum for Bangla journalists to raise questions about Hizb ut-Tahrir's aims and methodology.
The press conference panel will be comprised of Dr Ali Ahmed Shuieb (Media Liaison Officer), Barrister Anwar Hussain Khan (Bangla Media Representative – Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain) and Nazmul Hoque (Regional Coordinator).
The Press Conference will take place at 7.30 p.m., Tuesday 16th August 2005 at The Cafe Naz Express, 16-18 Brick Lane, Tower Hamlets, London, E1 6RF [nearest tube Aldgate East].
