The Balfour Declaration: a century on
Part 3: Silent spectators
The Balfour Declaration encouraged mass Jewish immigration to Palestine.
From the 1880s to the Balfour Declaration, the average number of new arrivals was around 900 per year.
Following the declaration, during the 1920s, that went up to 12,000 per year.
The horrifying rise in anti-semitism during the 1930s, not only in Nazi Germany, increases that figure again to 30,000 per year.
This brought the Jewish population from 5% in 1880 to more than 40% in 1939.
In 1948, after the creation of the Zionist entity, more than 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their villages.
Thereafter, years of pillaging, displacement and brutal massacres followed, such as that of Deir Yasin.
In 1952, just four years after the declaration of the Zionist entity, 1,630,000 people are housed in homes stolen from the Palestinian population.
Global complicity
The UN, the ‘international community’, the International Criminal Court, the US, UK, EU, OIC, Arab League and rulers across the Muslim world have all done NOTHING to help the oppression of the Palestinian people.
The Zionist entity repeatedly violates the UN charter but no action is taken.
The Zionist entity murders, tortures, kidnaps and terrorizes the Palestinians but the Muslim rulers keep up diplomatic ties and trade deals.
Whilst the Palestinians defend themselves with rocks and stones, The U.S. provides Israel $10.1 million in military aid each day!
With today’s secular liberal world order valuing material acquisition above the sanctity of human life, it is vital that we see through the lies fed to us, and expose the rotten fruits of colonialism for exactly what they are.
