Rohingya: abandoned by the world

Burmese military and Buddhist terrorists have yet again intensified their savagery:

More than 123,000 Rohingya are now said to have fled the violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine State since 25 August alone.

Over 400 unarmed men, women and children have been killed.

Around 60,000 have fled burning villages to neighbouring Bangladesh, many with bullet wounds.

A quarter of a million people will be without regular food access.

Abandoned by the West

Aung San Suu Kyi has been hailed as the poster girl for democracy.

However, tensions and mass slaughter have only increased under her rule.

Whilst the media reports beheading of children and civilians being burned alive,

Boris Johnson asked Aung San Suu Kyi to use ‘all her remarkable qualities to unite her country’.

As she turns a blind eye to the massacres, he also described her ‘as one of the most inspiring figures of our age’.

Alongside the flattery of a brutal dictator, the UK have also sold over £500,000 worth of weapons to the Myanmar government in the last three years.

The silence of the west and the United Nations as we see watch another Srebrenica and Rwanda unfold before our eyes, is clear proof of their double standards.

Their slogan of ‘human rights’ is evidently a colonial tool to further colonial interests.

Abandoned by Muslim rulers

As expected, there is nothing but excruciating silence and hollow words from Muslim rulers.

Hasina has turned away thousands of desperate Muslims, citing them as ‘not our problem’,

The offer of joint operations with the Burmese, has taken the treachery to a new level.

Malaysia calls upon Islamic countries to help end the persecution, whilst Indonesia offers to be a facilitator to finding a solution.

Pakistan’s government sells fighter jets to Myanmar.

Yet not one of these leaders have commanded their army to liberate their Muslim brothers and sisters.

Erdogan accuses Burma of genocide whilst he silently witnessed mass murder on his doorstep in Syria.

Only the Khilafah provides hope

We must work tirelessly for the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah – the only solution to the Rohingya genocide.

Only the Khilafah will guarantee rights to all citizens, Muslim and non-Muslim.

Was it not the Khilafah that brought Islam to the region of Burma in the 15th Century, bringing peace and prosperity for centuries to come?

During the spanish inquisition when the Muslims and Jews were expelled from Spain, Sultan Bayezid II sent his fleet to save them and granted the refugees the right to settle under the Khilafah.

Only the Khilafah has the political will to challenge oppressive regimes and defend our honour once more.
