“O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you that you may gain Taqwa (piety)” [TMQ 2:183]
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatahu,
We send you our warmest salutations for the month of Ramadhan; the month that the Messenger of Allah (saw) on the authority of Abu Huraira said, “When Ramadhan comes, the gates of Mercy are opened, the gates of Jahannam are shut and the Satans are chained”.
Ramadhan is the month of revelation, the month of victory, the month of sacrifice and perseverance and the month in which the believers are ordered to fast in order that they may attain Taqwa.
All praise is to Allah (swt), for allowing us to witness the blessed month of Ramadhan once again, and for allowing us to benefit from its superiority over all other months. We pray to Allah (swt) that he makes this month one of blessing and mercy for the believers, and that he opens the minds and hearts of all to the great issue of restoring the Muslims into one glorious, victorious and leading Ummah that holds tight to the rope of Allah (swt). An Ummah who holds onto this rope to establish the deen and carries the message by following the example of the Messenger (saw). An Ummah who abides by the Shariah to take the people from the clutches of the darkness of Kufr into the tranquillity of the light of Islam.
Our hearts and Dua’s are with the Muslims of Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Kashmir, Burma and indeed all regions in which the oppressors work night and day to keep the Ummah from Islam and the rule with that which Allah (swt) has revealed.
We pray that Allah (swt) accepts our fasting, our duas, our sadaqa and our striving for the return of the rule by Allah (swt) in all our affairs.
O Allah (swt) help us return the rightly guided Khalifah, who is the Imam behind which we are protected and behind which we fight.
Muslim narrated from Al-’Araj from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet (saw) who said: “Behold, the Imam is but a shield from behind whom the people fight and by whom they protect themselves.”
“O you who believe respond to the call of Allah and His Messenger when they call you to that which gives you life.” [TMQ 8:24]
