Over 180 people attended a community event in Slough entitled Ramadan, a month to struggle for Islam.
Ustadh Ibn Kamaludeen Al-Hanafi spoke about the life of Sheikh Izzuddin Abdul Aziz Ibn Abdul Salam and how it was a life that exemplified the Taqwa we yearn for in Ramadan and the struggle that Islam demands through his accounting of the rulers.
Dr Abdul Wahid spoke about some of the challenges facing the Muslim community in the UK and gave practical advise on how to build the next generation with Islamic values such that they are shining examples and an alternative for broken Britain which is blighted by family breakdown and ills resulting from individualism and other secular liberal values.
