Erdogan – Palestine Was Never a Red Line for You

Erdogan has expressed Turkey’s intentions to strengthen ties with the Zionist Entity. The same Turkey that considers the Palestinian issue a ‘red line’ is now looking to resume diplomatic relations between the two states. The Turkish presidential adviser on foreign affairs, Mesut Casin explains that if ‘Israel’ takes one step in the right direction, Turkey is ready to take two steps.

So far the governments of the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have all stuck to deals to ‘normalise’ their relationships and establish diplomatic ties with the Zionist entity.

Additionally, Oman’s foreign minister has expressed his country’s intentions of strengthening relations with the Zionist Entity and more countries are expected to follow suit.

What does ‘normalising’ really mean?

This normalisation process is only an acceptance of the existence of the Zionist entity and her right to continue her occupation over Palestine. The above countries have even gone as far as rejecting the already flawed low-bar that was set in the Arab Peace Initiative in 2002 which claims that normalisation comes only after the occupation of Palestinian and Arab lands has ended.

This not only shows that such initiatives were a lip service and a political show, but were ones that were meant to be a stepping stone in the eventual complete acceptance of the existence of the Zionist Entity. Another stab in the back of the Ummah by the hands of none other than the regimes in the Muslim world.

The ‘normalising’ of the relationships between the regimes in the Muslim world and the Zionist Entity is no surprise. The leaders in the Muslim world continue to betray the Ummah time and time again.

The US says ‘Jump’ and our leaders say ‘How High?’

President Trump initiated the recent talks that revolve around Palestine and her future. Jerusalem has been made the capital of the Zionist Entity, the Golan Heights have been recognised as belonging to the Zionist Entity and normalising the relationships with the surrounding Muslim countries is only a continuation of those efforts.

Jared Kushner, who has been acting as the unofficial advisor to President Trump made huge efforts to mobilise everyone in the Bahrain Conference around the idea of integrating Palestinians with surrounding countries, making them pay $50b for it and other initiatives seemed to have been rejected by leaders in the Muslim world. However, as we have seen time and time again, actions speak louder than words. It didn’t take long before the US started to put her plans into action and countries started to ‘normalise’ one after the other.

The response of the Muslim leaders towards the developments in Palestine is no different to their response during the time of Iraq War, the current developments in Syria, Yemen, Libya and other Muslim countries.

The US plans and the regimes in the Muslim world execute the plan at the expense of the livelihood of the Muslims, their lands and resources.

This is not just a ‘Trump’ policy

The betrayal of the leaders in the Muslim world is a sequence of events that continue to take place irrespective of who is in office in the US. Whether it is the Democrats, Republicans, Clinton, Bush, Obama or Trump, the result will be the same. This is because the current regimes in the Muslim world are subservient to the country with the most political power at that given time.

The Sykes-Picot Agreement necessitated the existence of handpicked regimes that facilitate the plans of the Western powers in the Muslim countries after the destruction of the Khilafah.

Let us not forget that without Turkey’s green light, the destruction in Syria would not be possible, without Saudi’s continuation of the proxy war between her and Iran, Yemen would not be possible and the continuing instability in Iraq, the millions dead and displaced is the direct results of the cooperation of the Gulf countries.

The likes of Erdogan are the kings of ‘talk the talk but don’t walk the walk’. Let’s not forget that this was the man that normalised Turkey’s diplomatic relations with Russia when the Muslims in Syria were suffering daily from the Russian military. It was the same man that played an important role in handing over Aleppo working hand in hand with the Russians to implement the American plans in the region.

Normalising relationships with the Zionist Entity vs bettering relationships with the Jews and creating peace

In an attempt to justify this disaster, some are trying to give this political backstabbing some form of Islamic reasoning. By claiming that Islam is the deen of ‘peace’ and that Muslims since the time of the Prophet ﷺ  have had treaties and ties with the Jews, a narrative is being created to silence the voice of the Ummah which completely rejects this betrayal.

Considering that Islam does not allow for Muslim lands to be occupied, this prohibits us from supporting those that kill Muslims and does not recognise the nation states present today. The same countries that are imprisoning scholars and spearheading the cultural invasion and secularisation of the Muslim countries have no authority to speak on behalf of Islam or the Muslims.

This is not unique

The Muslims in Palestine, Syria, Kashmir, Iraq, the Kurds and others are all going through various political and geographical changes that weaken the Muslims and strengthen the Western foothold. These changes are thought through by the Western powers and are executed by the puppet rulers and regimes in the Muslim world. This is therefore not unique to the issue of the deal of the century, Palestine, nor is it unique to this decade. This has been happening since the destruction of the Khilafah.

Our work

To strengthen the Muslims, put a stop to the plans put in place to weaken them and a stop to the occupation and manipulation of Muslim lands, we must work to remove the regimes in the Muslim world and replace them with a Khilafah. A Khilafah that will work to protect the Muslims and fight for them as mentioned by the prophet ﷺ

إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به

“Indeed, the Imam (Khalifah) is a shield, from behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected.” [Muslim]
